Lorry suddenly rolls backwards while being washed; tragic end for driver

PATHANAMTHITTA: A lorry driver met with a tragic end after being crushed under his own vehicle, which went out of control and overturned while being washed. The deceased has been identified as Kunjumon (55), a tipper lorry driver and a native of Unnakkavu. The accident took place at Aruvikkal in Perumpetty.

The lorry suddenly rolled backwards while being washed. In an attempt to stop the vehicle, Kunjumon ran and jumped into it, but he was unable to regain control. The lorry veered off and overturned onto a nearby road, trapping him underneath. Perumpetty police reached the spot and initiated further proceedings.
