The work efficiency of ministers is subpar, only announcements happening; Ganesh Kumar criticizes department-level procedures of LDF government

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: There are pitfalls in the governance of ministers in the second Pinarayi government, says MLA KB Ganesh Kumar. The work efficiency of ministers is subpar and only announcements are happening, he criticized in the left legislative assembly group meeting.

'In the current condition, the situation is so bad that the MLAs cannot stay in their constituency and I am not willing to continue my service like this', Ganesh Kumar added. Pointing out the failure at the department level he said that not even the administrative approval of the schemes allowed for MLAs has been granted so far. He requested that a solution for such matters may be made by the next budget at least.

Some CPM MLAs expressed disapproval of the statements made by Ganesh Kumar in the meeting itself. When they pointed out that Ganesh Kumar's criticism was not right he replied with the question 'Where else should I raise this but here?'
