THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Leader of the Opposition VD Satheesan said that the UDF bilateral discussion has been completed and Congress will contest in 16 seats. Muslim League will contest in Malappuram and Ponnani, RSP in Kollam and Kerala Congress in Kottayam. The league is entitled to a third seat but the difficulty of awarding the seat in special circumstances has been convinced to them. The next vacant Rajya Sabha seat will be given to the League and the next seat will be taken by the Congress. When the UDF comes to power, the League will be guaranteed a two-seat precedent. UDF will proceed with activities to win all 20 seats.
UDF has led in all the local elections except the last one. He also said that UDF has captured 32 seats from CPM in seven elections.
CPM's role in TP case is clear now
VD Satheesan said that the High Court verdict clarifies that the CPM had a role in the assassination of TP Chandrasekaran and the conspiracy. The Probation Officer has given a report that the CPM is helping the families of the jailed killers every month. Last day, the SFI leaders broke an SI's eardrum. Siddharth, a second-year student of Pookode Veterinary University, was brutally beaten to death. It is shocking that the incident was covered up by the teachers including the dean. He also stated that if the accused who has the support of teachers' organization leaders are not brought to justice immediately, there will be a strong protest.
TP case; will fight till justice is served: Sudhakaran
KPCC president K Sudhakaran said that the Congress will fight till justice is served in the TP Chandrasekaran murder conspiracy case. Those involved in the murder were punished, but the conspirators are still outside. The High Court verdict makes it clear that CPM is a killer party. CPM's politics of violence will be one of the main issues in the election. With the conviction of the leaders, CPM's nexus with the murders and the party's protection and financial support to the killers became clear. I reached the post of KPCC president after overcoming violent politics and fighting for a democratic voice. Pinarayi's attempt is to turn Kerala into a party village where the light of democracy does not penetrate. The Chief Minister's politics is rooted in the theory of abolition. He also said that public anger against the Modi-Pinarai governments will create a wave of UDF in Kerala.
