‘Deliberately trying to insult, posts of criminal nature along with my picture'; G Sudhakaran

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM leader G Sudhakaran said attempts are being made to deliberately insult him on social media. He informed in a Facebook post that an obscene poem with the title 'Poem sent by G Sudhakaran to Comrade Pinarayi Vijayan is going viral' is reaching many groups. Sudhakaran said he came to know about this through a friend from Kozhikode and that such posts with his picture have been circulating on social media for some time. Sudhakaran penned that it would be good if the cyber police pay attention to such serious crimes.

G Sudhakaran has been at loggerheads with the party for quite some time. Though the leaders tried to pacify him, he is staying away from party functions. Sudhakaran started making public comments against the party leadership ever since he was removed from party responsibilities on the grounds of age. His response has often put the government and the party in crisis. Sudhakaran responded in strong language to the statement of Minister Saji Cherian, who is also a member of the state secretariat, that he should go along with the party. Sudhakaran even stayed away from the VS Achuthanandan Memorial Award ceremony held in Kuttanad the other day.
