'Everyone seems to be afraid of that contestant, show will get better only if one thing is done'

Bigg Boss Malayalam, hosted by superstar Mohanlal, has a huge fan following. The seventh season of Bigg Boss began three weeks ago, but unlike previous years, it has been facing heavy criticism. Frequent fights and abusive language among contestants have become a regular feature. Now, actor and director Alleppey Ashraf has shared his views on the show through his YouTube channel.

"This season of Bigg Boss is disappointing. We thought contestants from different fields would perform well, but that was not seen in the tasks. Instead, what we see are indecent actions and language. They should have included at least one person who could live peacefully and happily. But here, it is only quarrels and violence 24 hours a day. It looks like all contestants this time enjoy violence," Ashraf said.

"Earlier seasons of Bigg Boss were shows families could sit together and watch. But this time, the quality seems to have dropped. Contestants are treating Bigg Boss with no value. If things continue this way, Bigg Boss will become like a lion without teeth. Even Mohanlal's presence is not making a difference. In the first week, Mohanlal exposed the real faces of some contestants. Yet a few of them continue to create trouble without showing any respect for him. Do they behave the same way at their homes too?" he asked.

“Others seem to be scared of Gizele. Except for Anumol, no one questions her. The show will get better only if unfit contestants are evicted and talented people are brought in as wild card entries," he added.
