Jasna Salim, who filmed reels at the Guruvayur temple in violation of the high court order, attempted suicide by slitting her wrist. The woman also shared the video of it on social media. Why are people hating me so much, she asked and showed the visuals of her bleeding hand.

The visuals were later removed. She then shared the visual of her bandaged hand on YouTube. She posted the YouTube video saying that she cannot sleep due to the pain in her hand. The video was shared with the caption, 'I will go inside and see Kannan, my wedding will also be held here then'.

Many have commented harshly criticizing the video. One asked how many times you have been acting on this suicide drama. Another asked aren’t you ashamed of acting by slitting your wrist.

The police had earlier registered a case against Jasna for filming a reel in violation of the high court order. A complaint was filed in the high court for celebrating her birthday by cutting a cake at the temple's entrance and circulating it on social media. Following this, the court banned video filming at the temple. The court banned all video shoots except for religious ceremonies or weddings. Despite that order, Jasna is accused of filming reels again.
