'We have kept Prime Minister's gift to Omy like a treasure, now I want to meet another person'

Photos of actor Krishna Kumar and his family meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi had gone viral on social media. Now, Krishna Kumar’s wife Sindhu Krishna has shared her happiness and surprise after meeting the Prime Minister. She said it was a moment she would never forget in her life and added that Narendra Modi spoke to them like someone they had known closely. Sindhu Krishna also mentioned that the gift given by the Prime Minister to their grandson Omy is being kept safely like a treasure.

“Many of you might have seen our photos with the Prime Minister on social media. He had even shared a photo with Omy on Instagram, which made us very happy. Visiting his office was an even greater experience,” she said.

Sindhu Krishna also spoke about her excitement when they visited the Prime Minister’s residence. She recalled telling her children that during the time when Indira Gandhi was Prime Minister, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi might have played there as children. She described the place as very beautiful.

She added that she has always liked Narendra Modi and had long wished to meet and speak with him in person.

“Omy had fallen asleep by the time we reached there. We went to meet the Prime Minister after Omy woke up. When he grows up and sees these photos, he might feel he could have smiled a bit more. We don’t know how to fully describe that experience. All of us spoke with him, and we left with the feeling of wondering when we would get to meet him again.

The Prime Minister gave Omy a chocolate. He hasn't started eating chocolate, so it has been kept safely like a treasure here. It is a Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate. Another person I would love to meet like this is Amitabh Bachchan. He had come as a guest during the ‘Amma’ show in 1996, but I would like to meet him personally someday. Hopefully, that will happen,” Sindhu Krishna said.
