NEW DELHI: Airtel has made a new announcement to ensure free service to its users. Airtel has made a new announcement in collaboration with Google. Information related to this was revealed yesterday. Airtel is now using the same move that Mukesh Ambani's telecom company Jio once took. The announcement is that Airtel will ensure free service to its users. However, Airtel has made some changes from the announcement made by Jio.
To solve the storage problems of devices, Airtel and Google have collaborated to offer the Google One Cloud storage subscription service to users. All postpaid and Wi-Fi users will be able to get 100 GB of Google One Cloud storage for six months at no extra cost through the new service. Not everyone will get the free service. Airtel has offered the free service for six months to those who have a Google One Cloud storage subscription.
Users can also share this storage with up to five people. Cloud storage helps you solve storage issues on your devices, secure your data, and share it with other devices. You can also back up your WhatsApp chats to your Google account storage through this system. Eligible Airtel users need to log in to the Airtel Thanks app to avail the new benefit. Airtel and Google have announced that it will cost only Rs 125 to continue using this service after the six-month free service.
