Misappropriation of party funds; CPM strongman P K Sasi removed from all party posts

PALAKKAD: Former MLA and KTDC chairman P K Sasi was removed from all elected positions of CPM, after he was found guilty of party fund misappropriation. Meanwhile, the party leadership also decided to dissolve the Mannarkkad Area Committee.

The action was taken in the party district secretariat meeting held on Sunday in the presence of CPM state secretary MV Govindan. It is alleged that P K Sasi diverted funds allocated for Mannarkkad area committee office construction.
