Argument over watching porn video, husband sets woman on fire in Gujarat

SURAT: A young man set his wife on fire and killed her after an argument over watching a porn video. The incident took place in Surat, Gujarat. Kishore Patel (33), a native of Katargam, killed his wife Kajal (30). Kishore Patel was watching a pornographic video on Sunday night when his wife noticed him. The woman asked her husband to stop watching such videos. After this, both of them got into a fight. The two had an argument over this on Monday as well and the young man attacked Kajal and set her on fire, says the police. This is also mentioned in the dying declaration given by the woman. The woman suffered 40 percent burns and died on Tuesday morning while undergoing treatment. With this, a case of attempted murder was filed against the accused who was arrested and charged with murder.

Kishore, a native of Patan, Gujarat, and Kajal, a native of Mumbai, got married a year ago. They fell in love while working at a diamond jewelery factory in Mumbai and later got married. This was Kajal's second marriage. The woman's first husband died five years ago.
