Student commits suicide after family questions excessive use of phone

KANNUR: A student committed suicide after her family questioned her excessive mobile phone use. The deceased has been identified as Fradil Maria, daughter of Kannur Alakode native Biju and Lisa. Fradil Maria was in critical condition after drinking poison.

Fradil Maria was a lab technician student. Three days ago, she consumed rat poison at home after her family barred her from using her phone excessively. Following this, she was admitted to Pariyaram Medical College. She died this evening while undergoing treatment.
