NEW DELHI: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has been served with a contempt notice over his remarks on PM Narendra Modi’s alleged link with business tycoon Gautam Adani. The Loksabha secretary has sent a notice to Rahul Gandhi seeking an explanation for his Hindenburg remarks.

Earlier, Rahul Gandhi took the parliament to storm after he accused Adani of experiencing a financial boom only after the rise of Narendra Modi as the Prime minister of the nation. BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has filed a breach of privilege complaint against the Congress MP regarding his comments.

The BJP lashed out at the comments citing them as misinformed and unparliamentary.
