THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A massive diesel theft was noticed at KSRTC depot in Nedumangad. A shortage of one thousand liters was found in the 15,000 liters of diesel delivered. Nedumangad M S Fuels supply diesel to the depot. KSRTC loses close to Rs one lakh in the less thousand liters. When the deficiency was found, the remaining diesel was brought in the next diesel tank.

The employees have been complaining about the shortage of diesel delivered to the Nedumangad KSRTC depot for several months. However, it is alleged that the authorities did not pay much attention to this. The counter-allegation of the officials was that the vehicles of Nedumangad depot have low mileage and blamed the drivers and mechanics for it.
