Special post for VIP security in the state; IPS officer in charge

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In the context of strong opposition protests against the Chief Minister and the Minister, a special post has been created for VIP security in the state.

An IPS officer is in charge of VIP security. Armed Police Battalion SP Jaidev has been appointed as the SP in charge of VIP security. A special post was created to coordinate VIP security. The new post is under Intelligence ADGP. Sanjeeb Kumar Patjoshi, MD, Supply Co, has also been appointed ADGP Coastal Security.
