E P Jayarajan attends function of honoring mother of ‘Dallal’ Nandakumar; explains of visiting ailing activist

KOCHI: The visuals of E P Jayarajan attending the function of honoring mother of Dallal Nandakumar, are out. This incident is soon after the news of Jayarajan deliberately skipping Janakeeya Prathirodha Jatha (People's Resistance Rally) led by CPM state secretary M V Govindan, came out. K V Thomas is also seen in the visuals.

This function was held on the previous day of the start of Janakeeya Prathirodha Jatha. It is clear from this that Jayarajan stayed away from the march not because of health issues. Govindan’s explanation was that he had not noticed the incident and the LDF convener will attend the jatha at any time.

However, Jayarajan’s explanation was that he reached Kochi to visit an ailing activist and not for the function of honouring Nandakumar’s mother.
