NAGPUR: A very tragic death happened to a young man who took a sex-stimulating pill while drinking. The unfortunate incident happened to a man from Nagpur, Maharashtra. The national media reported the incident citing a study published in the Journal of Forensic and Legal Medicine.
The 41-year-old man took Sildenafil pills, sold under the name Viagra, while drinking in a hotel room with his female friend. Two 50 mg sexual stimulation pills were taken. The next day the young man began to feel uneasy. Then he started vomiting non-stop. His lady friend took him to the hospital as his condition worsened. But his life could not be saved.
The doctors found that the death was due to cerebrovascular bleeding which severely affects the oxygen supply to the brain. The doctors said that the man, who had high blood pressure, took sex stimulant pills along with alcohol which led to his death. The case study states that the doctors found 300 grams of coagulated blood from the dead body of the young man during the post-mortem.
The authors of the study published information about the incident to raise awareness about the potential dangers of taking erectile dysfunction medication without a doctor's prescription.
