Do not vent the anger towards governor on someone else

Resentment and hostility are common in the lives of ordinary people. But what if the government, which is supposed to protect all human beings, starts behaving like ordinary people? Why is the government being so cruel to Dr. Ciza Thomas, who is still the Vice Chancellor of the Technical University, at least on paper? It is very clear that the reason is, her not taking the side of the government in the Governor-Government war. That is why she was served a show cause notice for assuming the post of Technical University VC when she was only 20 days away from retirement. It is also very clear that the purpose behind this is to delay the statutory benefits at the end of service.

She was removed from the post of VC of the Technical University a few days ago. But as per the order of the Administrative Tribunal, she had to be posted in Thiruvananthapuram itself. That is how she was appointed as the Principal of Bartonhill Government Engineering College. Just like the appointment of the VC, the appointment of the principal was also against the will of the government. Dr. Ciza Thomas was Senior Joint Director of Technical Education when he assumed the position of Technical University VC. She was appointed as acting VC by the Governor who is the Chancellor. Locals are aware of the earthquake caused by this appointment, which took place at a time when the governor and the government were at war over VC appointments. Government-oriented service organizations tried to completely isolate Dr. Ciza, who was appointed as VC. Finally, the employees also had to give in to the VC who was determined to fulfill the assigned task no matter what. Dr. Ciza worked hard to straighten out the many backlogs until then and issue the pending engineering degree certificates in a phased manner. This has secured the future of hundreds of children. Although no kind words came from anywhere, there is no doubt that at least the engineering students will always remember her with gratitude.

Apart from assuming the post of VC in complaisance with the Governor's order, she has not done any harm. The show cause notice has asked why the government's permission was not taken before taking the position as VC. If an acceptable reply is not given within fifteen days, she can face disciplinary action. Disciplinary action may include a suspension on the date immediately preceding her retirement. That's plenty to withhold everything, including retirement benefits. It goes without saying that if this heinous act, carried out by the crooks in the service and the revenge-seekers in the government, comes before the court, the perpetrators will be humiliated.

It has been almost five months since Dr. Ciza took charge as the technical VC. It is remarkable that those who had not seen any indiscipline in it for so long now suddenly remembered it and issued a show cause notice. It is clear that there is no other objective than to make the victim suffer as much as possible and make him mentally exhausted just before her retirement date. There is no point in making the officer a scapegoat in the fight with the governor.
