Brahmapuram fire: MA Yusuff Ali to donate Rs 1 cr to resolve crisis

KOCHI: Lulu Group Chairman MA Yusuff Ali announced that Rs 1 crore will be donated to resolve the crisis caused by the fire at the Brahmapuram waste treatment plant.

The funds will be immediately given to provide medical assistance to those suffering from breathing problems after inhaling toxic fumes and to ensure a better waste management system in Brahmapuram. Yusuff Ali informed Kochi Mayor Adv M Anilkumar on the phone that Lulu Group representatives will immediately transfer the amount to the corporation.
