LUCKNOW: Sparking protests from students, a CCTV camera was installed inside a toilet in college. The incident took place at DAV PG College in Asamgarh, Uttar Pradesh. The students protested in front of the principal's office, alleging 'invasion of privacy on the part of the authorities'.

Cameras were installed in various places of the colleges as the taps went regularly missing from the college premises. As part of this, a camera was also placed inside the toilet.

Following protests, authorities informed that a camera was installed in the toilet by mistake and it will be removed immediately.
