KT Jaleel asks ‘If Elathur train fire incident a plot to take away Thrissur and Kannur?’; Facebook post sparks debate

KOZHIKODE: Former Minister KT Jaleel has raised suspicion on the timing of the Elathur train fire incident. In his Facebook post, Jaleel said that it seems somebody has hired Shahrukh Saifi to disrupt communal harmony in Kerala ahead of 2024 Lok Sabha polls.

In a veiled attack on BJP, he also asked whether the heinous crime has been orchestrated for capturing LDF strongholds - Thrissur and Kannur. Jaleel’s post was in reference to Uttar Pradesh police arresting Bharat Hindu Mahasabha workers for slaughtering cows to incite communal violence in Agra during the Ram Navami procession.
