PSC exam malpractice by SFI leaders: Court finds serious irregularities in chargesheet, returns it for curing defects

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: After finding serious irregularities, CJM Court here returned the charge sheet in the PSC examination malpractice case involving five SFI leaders. The court observed that the documents related to the mainour are not clear.

The police submitted the charge sheet at the court last week, four years after the incident. The court examined the charge sheet on Wednesday and today. Then the charge sheet was sent back to the investigation team stating that it is incomplete. Five SFI leaders who are students of Thiruvananthapuram University College are involved in the case.

SFI leaders Sivaranjith, Nazeem, and Pranav got into the rank list by engaging in malpractice in the police constable examination conducted by PSC. They were ranked one, two and 28 in the exam. Later, it was alleged that they got the rank through irregularities and an investigation was conducted into the incident. Then it was found that they got outside help in the exam. Police officer Gokul and friends Safeer and Praveen helped Sivaranjith, Nazeem and Pranav in the exam.
