'They have no loyalty towards the state, they simply have food and sit idle after receiving salary'; MM Mani lashes out at officials

IDUKKI: Former Minister and CPM leader MM Mani has lashed out at the Forest Department officials and policemen working in the border areas of the district. Mani, who said that the forest officials have no loyalty towards the state, added that the officials simply have food and sit idle after receiving salary from tax money.

Mani lashed out at the officials during the inauguration of the Integrated Check Postat Kambammettu in Idukki. He also said that the state forest department is doing nothing to prevent Tamil Nadu's encroachment on the border.

"The officials are interested only in receiving money. The forest officials in Kerala should learn from the officials in Tamil Nadu. All officials in the border region must be transferred," Mani added.
