KOCHI: CBSE 12th results towered the status of Kerala among other states in the country. The state normally touts its prowess in literacy rate but the results were unprecedented with the capital city Thiruvananthapuram getting 99.9% victory.
According to experts, the achievement was not a cakewalk. The credits are being showered on the better school infrastructure and the expertise of the teaching staff in the state. The students were made to work and follow a certain pattern of revision which showed well in results.
Bengaluru came second with 98.46% results for the 12th CBSE exams. Chennai came third with 97.40% while Prayagraj is in the bottom with 78.05%. To avoid small egos and upset among children, the CBSE has restrained from publicizing the individual rank list.
