Truck carrying buffaloes falls from flyover, two killed, three sustained injuries

CHANDIGARH: A truck carrying 20 buffaloes fell from a flyover killing two and injuring three people. The accident happened at Ibrahim Bas village of Haryana on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. The dead have been identified as Nazir (27) and Imran (32). The truck lost control and plunged from the flyover after a tyre burst. The truck was speeding and there were five people in the truck. Four buffaloes also died in the accident and some sustained fatal injuries.

The police arrived and took the injured to the hospital, but two of them had already died. The bodies were handed over to the relatives after post-mortem. It is not clear whether the injured is out of danger.
