Youth killed as tipper lorry rams into bike in Kadakkal

KADAKKAL: A 29-year-old died after a tipper lorry rammed his bike in Mannur. The deceased has been identified as Shyam Prasad (29), son of Sivaprasad and Ajitha couple of Siva Vilasam in Kadakkal. Shyam Prasad was a jewellery employee.

The accident happened near Mannur Ayurveda Hospital around 8.30 am yesterday. The tipper lorry coming from Anchal overtook another vehicle and hit the bike. Shyam Prasad, who fell on the road and was seriously injured, was rushed to the Kadakkal Taluk Hospital by the locals, but his life could not be saved.

His body was cremated at the house premises after post-mortem at Kadakkal Taluk Hospital. Wife: Gopika. They got married on February 23, 2023. Kadakkal police have registered a case.
