Isn't DYFI activist who pushed woman leader's car one of the accused? HC lashes out at police for not arresting those who attacked Youth Congress activists

kk

KOCHI: The Kerala High Court on Friday criticized the police for not arresting those who brutally attacked Youth Congress state secretary Vishnu Sunil Pandalam and his colleagues Ashiq Baiju, Ajmal and Sarath Mohan. The High Court lashed out at the police while considering the writ petition filed by Vishnu Sunil alleging that the police investigation was not going in the right direction.

In his petition, Vishnu Sunil alleged that the police were not arresting the accused even when the accused are freely moving in public and even in the presence of police. The plaintiff presented in court a video showing the second accused pushing the car of the accused woman leader in the presence of the police and the state minister. Following this, the court sought a report from the police and issued an order preventing the submission of the charge sheet in court until further order.
