Elderly woman, son found dead inside house

ADIMALI: A mother and her son were found dead in their house in Konnathadi in Enchapathal. As per preliminary assumption, this is case of suicide. Both died due to poisoning.

Initial information suggests that the cause of suicide was family problems. Both were found dead yesterday morning by neighbors. Meenakshi's body was lying in the washroom and Sasidharan's in the sitting room. A glass used to drink poison and other remains were found on the table lying in the premises of the house. Meenakshi was suffering from cancer. Sasidharan's wife: Anila. Children: Amal, Akhil, Answara. Son-in-law: Sivaprasad. The bodies were cremated after post-mortem at Adimali Taluk Hospital.
