Elderly man found dead in Kollam; Heatstroke suspected

KOLLAM: An elderly man was found dead in his agricultural farm in Kunnicode. He has been identified as Baby Philip (85) of Njarakkadu Thengin Thara. He is likely to have died due to heatstroke. He had gone to his own agricultural farm in the morning. Around 11.30 am, people who came to work in the fields found him lying down. Though he was taken to the private hospital in Kunnicode, his life could not be saved. Baby was running a private financial money lending firm in Kunnicode. The cause of death can be confirmed only after postmortem.
