Tearful adieu to Nakshatra hacked to death by father

ALAPPUZHA: Nakshatra, who was hacked to death by her father, was laid to rest in the premises of her mother’s house. Her father Sree Mahesh hacked her to death with an axe. Her mother Vidya had committed suicide three years ago.

Vidya was cremated here. Her father Lakshmanan and mother Rajashree are staying here now. Her brother Vishnu, who is in the Gulf, reached home today.

Vishnu told media that his sister committed suicide following Mahesh’s torture. Mahesh had planned to kill three people. He had planned to kill his daughter Nakshatra, his mother Sunanda and a police official with whom his marriage was fixed. The reason for the grudge towards the police officer is that she withdrew from the marriage.
