Man dies after car overturns into river

THIRUVAMBADI: A man died after his car fell into the river at Kuplattukunnel Kadavu near Thambalamanna Ceylon Kadavu on the Agasthyan Muzhi-Kaithapoyil Road. Raheez (35) , the person who was with him escaped with injuries. The deceaed has been identified as Muhajir (Manu-45), son of Bawa, of Chemba in Thiruvambadi's Thottathinkadav Pachakkad. The accident happened yesterday around 12 noon.

As the car reached the part of the road with unfinished work, the car went out of control and fell into the river which was about 25 feet deep. Raheez was sitting on the bank of the river with injuries when the locals came running on hearing the sound. According to him, Muhajir was pulled out of the car but could not be saved.
