Sukumaran Nair becomes NSS General Secretary again

KOTTAYAM: G Sukumaran Nair was re-elected as NSS General Secretary. Sukumaran Nair is coming to the leadership of NSS for the fifth time. The election was held in the budget session held yesterday. M Sangeetkumar (Thiruvananthapuram) was elected as Vice President and NV Ayyappan Pillai as Treasurer. After the resignation of Prof VP Haridas, the post of Vice President was vacant for four years.

G Sukumaran Nair (Changanassery), NV Ayyappan Pillai (Karunagapally), Chithara S Radhakrishnan Nair (Chadayamangalam), VA Baburaj (Nedumangad), G Thankappan Pillai (Kotarakkara), PN Sukumara Panicker (Chengannur), K Sreesakumar (Kunnathunad), KB Ganeshkumar (Pathanapuram) and R Mohankumar (Thiruvalla) were selected to fill the 9 vacant seats in the 27-member board of directors. Adv P Rishikesh (Thalapilly) was elected as Additional Member of Expert Committee and Harikumar Koikal (Changanassery) was elected as member of the Ex-Council.
