Malpractice during VSSC exam: Accused remanded

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Arrests of people from Haryana have been recorded in connection with VSSC exam malpractice. The investigation team brought those arrested from Haryana to Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday morning. The main planners, Lakhwinder, Deepak Shayo and Rishipal, natives of Haryana, were brought to Thiruvananthapuram and arrested. The police found that Deepak was the mastermind behind the incident.

He taught the examinees how to cheat with electronic devices. Those arrested are the administrators of an exam training centre. The accused were taken to the City Police Commissioner's office and interrogated for several hours. Then they were produced in court and remanded. The police said that there will be more arrests in the incident and that there is a big mafia group behind it. A section of the investigation team will remain in Haryana.
