
HARARE: Zimbabwe cricket legend Heath Streak (49) passed away this morning. He was undergoing treatment for cancer. His wife Nadine Streak shared the news of his death on Twitter.

Fake news about Heath Streak's death had surfaced earlier. Even sports celebrities have expressed their condolences on the demise. He had come out against fake news.
Heath made his international debut in 1993. He had a golden age until the beginning of the 2000s. He played 69 Tests and 189 ODIs for Zimbabwe. He also holds the record of being the most wicket-taker for the country in international cricket. He retired from International cricket in 2005 but has coached many teams.
