Fight for people will continue no matter whoever threatens, compensation deserved should be given, says M M Mani

IDUKKI: M M Mani MLA said the Kerala High Court should order the rehabilitation of the people if they cannot live in Idukki. He demanded the court to hear the grievances of the people and give them the compensation they deserve.

He clarified that his fight for the people will continue no matter whoever threatens him. The MLA also criticized that the collector issued the construction ban order without even consulting the representatives of thirteen panchayats of the district.

If such things are done according to the will of any official, will raise voice against it, said Mani in the protest meet convened by the CPM. He added that the high court should understand the seriousness of the collector's order and intervene.
