Mother hires quotation gang to burn son's bike; Attacked by same gang over quotation amount

MALAPPURAM: In a shocking incident, a woman who had given a quotation herself was attacked by the same quotation gang. The woman who was attacked had earlier given a quotation to burn her son's bike to the same gang. The incident took place in Melattur, Malappuram. Melattur police have arrested three people in connection with the incident. The Perinthalmanna court remanded the accused.

A three-member gang attacked a woman named Nafeesa. Kaja Hussain (39) from Ukkadam, Tamil Nadu, Cheri Nassar (32) from Pandalam and Mehboob (58) were arrested. Melattur station house officer K R Ranjith and his team arrested the accused.
The three accused were already arrested in connection with the quotation given by Nafeesa for burning her son's bike. The accused who were on remand in the case were released on bail recently.

Nafeesa gave the quotation to burn her son's bike months ago following a dispute with her son. There was a verbal dispute between Nafeesa and the accused over the quotation amount. Following this, the trio came to her house with deadly weapons on Friday and attacked Nafeesa.
