Lookout notice issued for Mallu vlogger on complaint of Saudi woman

KOCHI: A lookout notice was issued against vlogger Shakeer Suban, a popular Youtuber who runs a YouTube channel Mallu Traveller, on the sexual harassment complaint filed by a woman, a citizen of Saudi Arabia. The police issued the lookout notice as Shakeer is abroad. He was directed to appear for interrogation based on the complaint. The case was registered by Ernakulam Central Police. The police said they got information that the accused is abroad and will not visit home soon.

29-year-old Saudi woman is the complainant. Her complaint said that he tried to sexually abuse her at a hotel in Kochi on September 13. The Mallu Traveller Shakeer Suban reached the hotel to interview her. Police said that her would-be was with her at that time. However, her complaint said that Suban tried to abuse her when he stepped outside.

The police said they got information that the accused who has gone abroad will not be back in the state any time soon. The decision was to summon him when he reaches his hometown. However, the police have issued a lookout notice as he is abroad.
