'Mera Yuva Bharat' to boost youth leadership

NEW DELHI: The Union Cabinet meeting has approved the setting up of an autonomous body called Mera Yuva Bharat (My Bharat) to develop leadership skills and create opportunities for the youth. 15 - 29 age group is the target.

Union Minister Anurag Thakur said that Mera Yuva Bharat will be a government platform for youth development. The organization will work to pave the way for social change and nation building for the youth. It is also aimed at gathering information about the youth of the country. And information of teenagers in the age group of 10-19 will also be collected.
