Train derails in Bihar; four persons killed

PATNA: At least four people died after the North East superfast train derailed near Raghunathpur railway station in Bihar. Several passengers were injured. No further information is available. The incident took place at around 9.30 pm last night.

The train was on its way from Delhi's Anand Vihar to Kamakhya near Guwahati in Assam. More than three bogies of the train have derailed. Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav said rescue operations were underway and a team of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) has left for the spot. The railways has announced helpline numbers for people to know more details about the accident.
