Noted actor Kundara Johny passes away

KOLLAM: Famous film star Kundara Johny (71) passed away here on Tuesday. He died in a private hospital in Kollam due to a heart attack. He was an actor who garnered fame in Malayalam cinema in the 80s and 90s through his many villainous roles.

He began acting in movies in 1979 with the film Nithyavasantham. Kundara Johnny went onto act as a villain and co-star in many films like Kireedam, Chenkol, Rajavinte Makan, Aram+Aram Kinnaram, Kazhukan, Karimbana, Sphadikam, Avanazhi, etc. He last acted in Unni Mukundan starrer Mepadiyaan.
