Actress Tanushree Dutta has come forward with serious allegations, claiming she is being harassed at her own house. In an emotional video shared on Instagram, she pleaded for help, stating that she can no longer bear the abuse and wants someone to rescue her.
In the video, Tanushree alleged that housemaids employed at her home have been involved in theft and misconduct. “I cannot even hire maids because they planted maids in my house… I have had terrible experiences with maids who come in and steal and do all kinds of things. I have to do all my work. People bang on the door of my house. Someone please help me. I’ve had enough,” she said tearfully in the video.
The video was accompanied by a caption stating that the harassment had been ongoing since 2018. Tanushree stated that she had contacted the police regarding the matter, and officers had visited her residence. However, she was advised to file a formal complaint to initiate further action.
According to the actress, the alleged harassment began shortly after she spoke out during the #MeToo movement in 2018. At that time, she accused veteran actor Nana Patekar of sexual harassment on a film set — an allegation that drew national attention and contributed to the rise of the movement in India.
