Vava Suresh's film 'Kalamundan' commences with pooja ceremony

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The pooja ceremony for the film 'Kalamundan,' starring Vava Suresh and directed by Kaladharan, was held at Vailoppilly Sanskrit Bhavan. The screenplay for the film has been penned by Pradeep Panicker, with lyrics composed by Kaladharan and music by M Jayachandran.

The film is produced by K Nandakumar under the banner of Srinandanam Films, with two additional films from the same production house in the pipeline. The inauguration ceremony featured distinguished personalities, including renowned lyricist K Jayakumar IAS and poet-lyricist Prabhavarma, who lit the traditional Bhadradeepam lamp. IAS officer K Jayakumar inaugurated the event.

Shooting for 'Kalamundan' is scheduled to begin in Thiruvananthapuram early next month. The film's narrative revolves around the life of a nature enthusiast, interwoven with themes of rewards and rejections.

The film features art direction by Ajayan Ambalathara and makeup by Lal Karamana, with Rajesh Adoor serving as the Chief Associate Director and Rajesh Thilakam as the Production Controller. Vinayan CS is responsible for still photography, and MK Shejin handles Public Relations (PRO) duties.
