Kalidas Jayaram and Tarini Kalingarayar officially engaged, video out

Actor Kalidas Jayaram gets engaged to model Tarini Kalingarayar. The couple had kept their engagement under wraps until pictures and videos surfaced on social media, bringing the news to light.

During the event, stars Jayaram, Parvathy and Malavika were spotted on stage in a video that circulated online. Prior to this public announcement, Kalidas had hinted at his intention to marry Tarini in a recent public forum.

The engagement became official when Kalidas, present at the awards night, was invited on stage. The presenter acknowledged Tarini's achievement and mentioned someone proudly supporting her, leading to Kalidas joining the stage. When asked about his relationship with Tarini, Kalidas openly declared their upcoming marriage. Adding a touch of charm, he even proposed to Tarini playfully imitating Surya's voice. Subsequently, a video surfaced showing Kalidas lifting Tarini in celebration.

Kalidas had previously disclosed his relationship with Tarini on social media last year. On that occasion, he shared a photo with Tarini, the 2021 Liva Miss Diva runner-up who was also featured in a family picture posted by Kalidas on Thiruvonam day. Tarini, a 24-year-old from the Nilgiris holds a degree in Visual Communication.
