KOLLAM: Finance Minister KN Balagopal said that the Centre is squeezing the opposition states including Kerala financially. The minister also said that it is a fact that the state is in a financial crisis. The finance minister also responded to the criticism of the opposition that the government is extravagant in spending money.
The centre is not paying the state. Despite the central measures that are suffocating Kerala and facing situations that are leading to heavy expenditure, the government is standing after settling it all. However, the opposition leader is not saying anything against this action of the Centre.
The tax collection has increased in the last two years. It is not known on what basis the Leader of the Opposition says that tax evasion is taking place. People are being misled by saying things that are not there. People are seeing all this.
The leader of the opposition should uphold the interest of Kerala. UDF MPs are not even ready to sign the memorandum against the non-disbursement of funds to Kerala.
The leader of opposition should speak factually. He is talking every day in a way that insults the government. It has been proved that there is no truth in many of the allegations that have been made constantly. KN Balagopal blamed the central policies for all the current crises in Kerala.
