Lyricist and music director Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri revealed his deep admiration for superstar Mohanlal. In an interview with the media, he expressed his love for Mohanlal and praised their collaboration in the 1991 hit film 'Abhimanyu' directed by Priyadarshan.

Kaithapram highlighted the excellence of songs like 'Ganapati Bappa Moriya,' 'Ramayana katte' and 'Kandu njan mizhikalil' in the film. He specifically commended the beautiful performance of Mohanlal emphasizing that anyone working with Mohanlal can't help but be enamored.

Released in 1991, 'Abhimanyu' featured Mohanlal in the role of Harikrishnan (Hari Annan) and it emerged as a blockbuster during that era. The film also starred Geeta, Shankar, Kochin Hanifa, Jagadish and other prominent actors.
