LUCKNOW: A few youngsters were arrested for beating up a 12th-standard student and urinating on his face. The incident took place in Meerut on November 13th but the video of the same became viral just on Sunday.

There were three people in the rogue gang. One among them can be seen slapping the student on his head and later kicking him to the ground. The other two also tortured the student from time to time. The student can be heard crying for help and he later begged the gang to stop the torture. During the chaos, another member came to join the team and then urinated on the student.

After the video was shared by many people, the Uttar Pradesh police registered a case against seven people and arrested one person. The police have identified the four accused as Avi Sharma, Ashish Malik, Rajan and Mohit Thakur.

Senior police officer Piyush Singh told the media that an investigation was conducted based on the complaint filed by the child's father. The boy's father said that the gang abducted his son while he was returning from a relative's house in the city. Even after evening the student never showed up at the house which alerted the parents. However, early next morning, the student reached the house and shared the shocking experience. The family immediately complained to the police but alleges that the officers never cared to intrude on the issue.

The family said that when they came back to the police station on November 16, the police registered the case but omitted major charges including kidnapping. Some among the accused are friends of the victim.
