'Hamas are not terrorists, they are freedom fighters'; Palestinian ambassador thanks Kerala for support

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Responding to the Palestine solidarity meetings held in the state, Palestinian Ambassador Adnan Abu Al Haija said that he had come to Kerala to say thank you. Adnan Abu Al Haija said that he loves Kerala for supporting Palestine.

He said India is against the killing of civilians. India and Palestine have a historic relationship. "Hamas are not terrorists, they are freedom fighters and they want to live freely like other countries of the world," said Adnan Abu Al Haija.

Adnan Abu Al Haija, who said that they have lost more soldiers than Israel says, has also made it clear that Kerala has supported them by holding a rally. This includes two foreigners. At the same time, Qatar Foreign Ministry spokesman Majid Al Ansari said that Israel will release 30 Palestinian prisoners today. The ceasefire was extended for two days following mediation talks between Qatar, Egypt and the US.
