THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: UDF convener M M Hassan said that administration in Kerala has come to a complete standstill as the chief minister, chief secretary and the roster of ministers are roaming around Kerala in a bus.
Hassan said it was completely irresponsible for the Chief Minister and the Ministers to undertake a trip for the Nava Kerala Sadas while the people are battling a very serious economic crisis, a terrible law and order breakdown and an exorbitant rise in prices for day-to-day essentials.
The ‘Vicharana Sadas’ of the UDF to prosecute the Chief Minister and the ministers will begin on Saturday. The chief minister and ministers will be tried symbolically in all 140 constituencies till December 31.
AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal will inaugurate the function in the chief minister’s constituency Dharmadom, while opposition leader V D Satheesan will inaugurate the event in Minister Riyas’s constituency Beypore. KPCC President K. Sudhakaran will inaugurate the event in Thiruvananthapuram. The trial session is from 3 pm to 6 pm.
P.J. Joseph in Ettumanoor, Ramesh Chennithala in Trithala, MM Hassan in Cherthala. ET Muhammad Basheer in Kasaragod, K. Muralidharan in Kalamassery, Shibu Baby John in Aranmula, Anoop Jacob in Idukki, CP John in Irinjalakuda and G. Devarajan in Kottarakkara are the leaders who will inaugurate the events. UDF MPs, MLAs and other leaders will inaugurate the meetings in the following days.
