Kidnapping of six-year-old girl; child identifies people who were arrested; all three brought to AR camp

KOLLAM: It is reported that the child has identified the three people who were taken into custody by the police in the case of the abduction of the six-year-old girl in Oyoor. Their pictures were shown to the child at her home.
Police have brought the arrested persons to the Adoor AR camp. The car taken into custody has also been taken to the AR camp. ADGP MR Ajithkumar, DIG R Nishanthini and IG Sparjan Kumar are interrogating them.

Three people were taken into custody by the police from Puliyarai near Tenkasi on the border of Kerala and Tamil Nadu. The three are natives of Chathannoor are members of the same family. The final information is that they are a couple and their daughter. It is reported that the accused abducted the child as an act of revenge for extorting money to go abroad.

The Dansaf team of Kollam arrested the three on the fifth day after the incident. It is reported that they were under police surveillance. A Swift Dzire car was found parked in front of their house in Chathannoor. It will also be checked whether this car was used for kidnapping. The police are also investigating whether the child was staying in this house.
