THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Gangster Omprakash, who was on the run in the Pattoor attack case, has been arrested by the Thiruvananthapuram City Crime Branch from Goa. He was absconding after blocking a car and hacking the passengers in Thiruvananthapuram's Pattoor. He will be brought to Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday.
The injured were construction company owner Nithin (37) from Muttada, his friends Adithya (34) from Anad's Pazhakutti, Praveen (35) from Jagathy and Tintu Shekhar (35) from Poojappura. According to the statement given by the injured in the hospital, the attack was carried out by Omprakash, notorious for his involvement in crimes including murder, and his gang member Ibrahim Rawther, Arif, Munna and Jomon.
