Woman, who came to take husband home after discharge, dies after hit by car in hospital

KOZHIKODE: A woman, seriously injured after hit by a car, has succumbed to her injuries. The accident happened inside the compound of Kozhikode Beach Hospital. The dead is Sheena (48), wife of Sivan of Koyilandy Cheriya Mangad.

The accident happened on Saturday evening. Sheena was keeping all things in her son's car after her husband Sivan was discharged from the hospital. In the meantime, a car that came from the parking place and reached the front at high-speed hit Sheena. She was immediately admitted to the hospital but died during treatment. She leaves behind her children--Akaash, Arun, Drishya and son-in-law Sarath.

A woman, a pedestrian, died in Balussery the other day after hit by a bike. It happened in Karumala. The dead is Indira (60). The accident happened while she was returning home from the temple. The bike coming from Ekarool side near Karumala Bank hit her. Seriously injured Indira was rushed to Balussery Taluk Hospital, but her life could not be saved.
